A ReintroductionIt's hard to believe that I'm writing again.   
After looking at the past and all the places I've been.   
Maybe not physically but mentally so   
I'm now lost in the darkness with nowhere to go.   
My pen is out of practice and my words fall flat.   
So scattered that I'm not sure where I should go from that.   
All I know is I'm different than I was in past years.   
My voice no longer just of hidden truths and forgotten fears.   
So let me start this over, here's a reintroduction   
I'll be what you think is all that you need to function.    A Reintroduction

The Lost VoiceMy inner voice is gone or it decided to fall back.   
Back into a silence that's eternal and black.   
So I'm back to cheap rhymes as I get back into form,   
and wait until the voice in me erupts like a storm.   
Until all this anger in my soul transfers through my pen,   
I'll always seem different than the kid you knew then.   
I'm putting my facade back on so all you will see,   
is the confident and friendly side, the good half of me.   
Yet still I'll lurk in shadows, in search of what's mine.

Than anything that's conjured with an array of words.   
Misshapen by the twisted thoughts that play through my head.   
And tinted dark from all the times I wished I were dead.   
Could this be, instead of life, a reflection of me?

The power of a dripDrip...drip...drip, that infernal sound,   
Is keeping me awake as water falls to the ground.   
Pooling in the center, like blood that's turned clear.   
The sound has driven me to madness, unchanging year after year.   
I've finally cracked, violent thoughts abound.   
Murderous tendencies, that flare up at the sound.   
The power of a drip is a miraculous thing,   
it makes my head scream while it makes my blade sing.   
Pacing back and forth I plan my final attack,   
and cringe as cool water drips on my back.

Hello again Deviant Art. You may not remember me,it's been a while since we've last seen each other. I know.... I should've kept in touch...

Awkward introduction aside:

I'M BACK :D :E and other such smileys.

I figured since I'm back I would talk about why I've been gone.

It's really a one word answer: college.

It kinda sucks out your soul, not that I'm complaining or anything. It just eats up all of the time that I used to spend writing. I'm actually just updating before I head out to paint the Greek Rock (which starts at 10 so we have to be there early to claim it...ugh) and that goes until 2...

Also starting tomorrow is tech week for a brand new (I mean BRAND NEW) original play by Megan Gogerty called BAD PANDA. Yeah...tech week starts 2 days before break....awkward...

On a brighter note it's almost Thanksgiving which means it's even closer to Thanksgiving break. Florida here I come :D.

Lastly I'm working on a project. Well...right now it's more of a concept really...but whatever I'm still working on it. It's going to be a story (or play, or...something) ABOUT the Furies. Not just having them in it but I'm trying to make it about them in a fictitious sort of way.

So yeah that's what I've been up to in a nutshell.
